The candidate will be working as a part of a large multi-site team.Responsibilities:Test, validate, and sign off on new CAD/PDM/PLM functionality for a continuous deployed CADproductDevelop, refine, and document release processWrite test cases and algorithms for automated regression testsProvide technical leadership in areas of CAD, CAM, FEA, PDM, and PLMMandatory skills / experience3+ years of manual testing experience2-5 years' experience using professional CAD/CAM/FEA/PDM/PLM systemsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentUnderstanding of web applications and corresponding technologiesStrong debugging and investigative skills to perform root cause analysisStrong English communication and reporting skills (verbal and written) with an ability to work collaboratively with teams from multiple time zonesAbility to exercise good judgment when requirements and specifications are in fluxAbility to be the voice of the customer and contribute to product directionPreferred skills / experience:Professional mechanical design experienceAbility to read source code and triage stack traces in multiple programming languagesFamiliarity with CI/CD deploymentsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and standard network protocolsStrong understanding of asynchronous technologyExperience working with geometric modeling kernels and variational solversExperience using Github, Jira, and Zephyr test managementPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $115,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
