This role requires strong welding skills and the ability to read and create basic prints and drawings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a safe and compliant work environment; identify and report hazards. Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and other welding processes as required. Design and fabricate stands, test rigs, fixtures, and structural components. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; create basic sketches/drawings as needed. Repair and modify equipment to improve safety, reliability, and performance. Operate fabrication equipment. Inspect work for quality and correct defects. Collaborate with maintenance and leadership to develop practical solutions. Complete work orders and maintain job status. Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. Support urgent repairs, overtime, and on-call needs as required. Perform other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESStrong welding and fabrication skills across multiple processes. Ability to read blueprints and perform basic drafting. Experience building custom fixtures, stands, and test equipment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
