Job Description:Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.Opportunity: PhysicianInternal MedicineCardiology Job Details: Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with weekday call responsibilitiesStart each day at 7:00 AM checking in with cardiovascular testing departmentSupervise and read approximately 15-20 stress tests dailyPerform 1 stress echo/dobutamine stress echo per dayConduct 1 tilt table test dailyRead approximately 75 EKGs per dayPerform 15-20 echocardiograms dailyConduct 1-2 transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) per daySee 15-20 patient encounters per shiftShare patient load with independent nurse practitionerMust be able to perform TEE, tilt table testing, and conscious sedationBoard certification required with minimum 3 years fellowship trainingACLS and BLS certifications requiredInpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI experience required Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility serving the southern Ohio region with a robust cardiology program.The facility operates 110 beds and maintains a very active cardiovascular testing department with high daily volumes.The organization provides advanced cardiac care services including non-invasive cardiology procedures and maintains modern equipment to support comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostics and patient care.Location: Portsmouth, OH Portsmouth offers a scenic location along the Ohio River in southern Ohio, providing easy access to outdoor recreation and water activities. xmcpwfu
