Laboratory Technician

A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Lab Technician to join their team.Job Responsibilities:- Set up and manage a large-scale hardware rack testing environment for various firmware projects.- Manage a myriad of devices and fixtures which run on these device clusters.- Provide physical in-lab support to enable automated system testing.- Work with the firmware and hardware engineering teams in setting up the test hardware configurations.- Work with test automation team in trouble-shooting test environment issues and in improving lab automations.Minimum Qualifications:- 2 years of building and managing lab with devices.- Technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking.- Experience in managing MacOS and iOS devices.- Experience in automating device management using Python, bash and Ansible.- Strong in diagnosing and resolving system and user-level issues in MacOS, iOS or Linux.- A team-player in nature with good communications and documentations skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Work with customers and colleagues to identify and fix issues with hardware setups.- Provide problem solving steps to resolve issues easily and effectively.- Able to help assemble custom test fixtures.- Creative problem solver able to figure out ways to get things done quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
