We are seeking passionate, driven, curious people who not only love the outdoors but strive to bring the same passion and curiosity into their work with them every day.Cascade Designs is looking for a Senior Digital Designer who can help support and elevate its pinnacle outdoor brands, Therm-a-Rest, MSR, Platypus, SealLine, PackTowl and Varilite.The Senior Digital Designer will have a passion for social media and digital trends, be fluent in modern digital best practices, including performance-driven creative, motion-first design, and scalable design systems, and be excited to grow an ever-expanding digital ecosystem at an in-house, product-driven company. You will work collaboratively with the creative team and will interact with the greater marketing, e-commerce, and product teams. While this position will report to the Creative Director, the individual will need to be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, content-driven environment with high output across channels. This role requires balancing strong creative execution with an understanding of how design impacts engagement, conversion, and overall campaign performance.Essential Job FunctionsDigital Design (70%)Short-form and motion-first content – design and produce short-form video and motion assets for social, paid media, and ecommerce (e.g., Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)Develop campaign creative for A/B testing and performance optimization across paid and owned channels Create platform-specific content tailored to channels like including social and paid media ecosystems, blogs, and email Digital production across formats (banners, ads, animation/video)Support in creating and adhering to brand guidelines for digital spaces and ensuring consistency across all channelsContribute to and help maintain scalable digital design systems and component libraries across channelsPartner with the web team to support ongoing layout and design optimization across homepage, collection pages, PDPs, and landing pages.Asset Production (20%)Product photography, video, and animation to support digitalSupport integration of user-generated and partner content into digital campaigns where applicableWorking with photographers, videographers, and creative contractors to create assets to support digital campaign needsVideo production to support product and campaign needsAnimation productionMiscellaneous (10%)Support content capture and asset creation for real-time or rapid-turn social media or broad marketing needsFlexibility to support creative team during sales meetings, tradeshows, events etc. when cyclical busy periods arisePhoto and video shoot support – studio and lifestyle Support printed sales support assets during busy peak periodsProfessional Requirements/Qualifications6+ years of professional graphic design experience to include:Creating motion graphics, animations, and video edits to support campaigns and social contentDigital/social campaign design workWeb productionProficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere)Familiarity with collaborative tools (e.g., Figma, Miro)Basic understanding of AI-assisted design tools (e.g., generative fill, image generation, workflow acceleration)Experience working within Digital Asset Management systemsExperience working with project management systemsExperience developing creative informed by performance metrics, testing, and optimizationEffective in cross-functional team environment Demonstrated ability to work flexible schedules to meet project deadlinesExperience collaborating with and providing direction to freelance designers and external partnersDetail-oriented, able to effectively prioritize multiple projects and thrive in fast-paced environment with diverse workHighly organized with experience managing assets in shared systems and scalable file structuresBonus QualificationsA passion and excitement for outdoor spaces and activitiesExperience with 3D Modeling Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)Understanding of CMS environmentsExperience designing for social-first or content-driven brandsUnderstanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG) in digital designPrint production.
