QC Inspector

Pay Rate Low: 23 | Pay Rate High: 26We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to join a growing medical device manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-HireLocation: Santa Rosa, CA (Onsite)Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM start (4x10 schedule)Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00/hourWhat You’ll DoPerform detailed inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies, and finished products using standard measurement equipmentIdentify nonconforming materials and support disposition activities (rework or rejection)Execute inspections in accordance with established procedures and quality standardsAccurately document inspection results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Maintain inspection records and controlled documentation with high accuracyReview Device History Records (DHRs) to ensure completeness and complianceSupport calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and fixturesConduct product testing to verify performance and quality standardsPartner cross-functionally with production and quality teamsContribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesWork within a cleanroom environment while adhering to all protocolsWhat You’ll Bring3–6 years of Quality Control experience, ideally within medical device manufacturingHands-on experience with measurement tools such as, microscopes, CMM, Instron testers, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, snap gauges.Strong understanding of: Good Documentation Practices (GDP) & Quality documentation (DHRs, inspection plans, drawings, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsComfortable working in a cleanroom environmentBasic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordEducationHigh School Diploma requiredAssociate’s degree or higher preferredThis job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
