The organization serves approximately 135,000 people in the region with a staff of about 55 physicians and 20 advanced practice providers.Opportunity: Board Certified/Board Eligible - OrthopedicsJoin a dedicated orthopedic surgery team in a supportive multi-specialty practice environment. You'll work alongside other specialists including internal medicine, family practice, ENT, anesthesia, dermatology, general surgery, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and more.Job Details:• Practice at an 83-bed hospital with private rooms and a close-knit, experienced orthopedic surgical team• Utilize advanced technology including Stryker MAKO robotic platform, GE multi-slice CT scanner, and new 1.5 Tesla MRI• Collaborate with a dedicated Orthopedic PA-C onsite• Benefit from flexible call requirements with the ability to transfer and collaborate with a 15-surgeon Level 1 trauma center in Duluth• Work with excellent regional physical and occupational therapy services available on-site and throughout the region• Serve a diverse population in the Virginia area (9,400) and broader regional service area (53,000+)• Enjoy being only 15 minutes from Giant's Ridge, great biking on the Mesabi Trails, and just an hour from the Boundary Waters and Voyager National Park• Experience a supportive and collaborative medical community with high quality of lifeCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
