This role schedules and dispatches field service technicians, prepares service job quotes, assigns duties, and ensures service jobs progress according to schedule. The Service Coordinator also assists the outside sales team with sourcing products and preparing quotes, manages job documentation, and maintains accurate records within the P21 system.Responsibilities of the Service Coordinator include, but are not limited to:Schedule and dispatch shop and field service techniciansAssign duties and daily tasks to service technicians when Service Manager is away.Prepare quotes for service jobs and assist with pricing requestsOrder parts for service jobs and ensure received parts are allocated to the correct jobUpdates job progress on all in house repair and Field Service activitiesInspect service jobs to verify conformance with company standards and/or customer specificationsEnsure service technicians follow company safety policiesCoordinate Activities of Administrative Assistant with Service ManagerAssist the Service Manager with administrative tasks, documents, and special requestsAssist in development and implementation of Quality Control programAssists in development and implementation of our kitting program.Assist in evaluating service technicians and supporting performance discussionsGenerate packing slips for all completed jobs leaving the shopMaintain and organize important documents for field and service mechanics, including badging, certificates, and safety documentsPrice check and order necessary supplies for field mechanics and machinistsSupport outside sales by preparing quotes and sourcing productsTake in lead roll in our safety programQualifications of the Service Coordinator include, but are not limited to:Prior inside sales, customer service or estimating experiencePreferably 2–3 years of experience in pump, motor, rotating equipment, or industrial product sales (not required)Experience in pump Field service and fabricationKnowledge of Field Service, Mechanical pump repair, welding, machine work, electrical, motors, pump curves, vibration and laser alignments.Employee management experience with the ability to motivate teams and accomplish goalsProficiency in Windows-based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SAP Ariba, and Citrix P21 is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with enthusiasm and initiativeMust have experience performing a majority of the listed functionsStrong data entry, organization, multi-tasking, and customer service skillsWillingness to learn and take direction when needed#ZRJGAdditional InformationPhysical Demand: Standard office environment; occasional shop & Field visits as neededWorking Conditions: Office environment and Occasional shop and field visits.Training/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Normal in‑person business hours, Monday–Friday (Occasional OT or weekend work)Travel: limitedEducation: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not requiredLocation: USA:WA:RidgefieldDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
