FSI integrates complex systems, transforms geospatial and operational data into clear insights, and supports naval, joint, and allied missions with technical rigor and global perspective.Job DescriptionDevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II)Full timeHybrid and Onsite options – San Diego, CAAccelint is seeking an enthusiastic and talented senior DevOps / platform engineer to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the US Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This role is for folks who like being close to the work—building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different. Candidates must have strong experience in Kubernetes.We work in small-to-mid size, diverse teams with clear ownership of tasking. Engineers are trusted in solving problems and aren’t waiting for permission to execute.U.S. Navy warfighters need your help to rapidly deliver cutting edge software solutions to the fleet for planning and executing missions for carrier strike groups conducting operations around the world. Mission planners need to collaborate in order plan for anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarm information gain, and a wide range of other mission areas.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely onAutomate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportableSupport containerized platforms in secure, regulated environmentsWork directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problemsAdjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks Required QualificationsCurrently hold an active US security clearance or be able to obtain oneCompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire3+ years of demonstrated experience with:Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormationLinux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related fieldDemonstrated experience withCloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)Clearance RequirementsSome positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.
