Interventional Radiology Location: Olney, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,004 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Permit Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. IR experience is required. Travel experience is required. Every other holiday is required. No on-call or weekends. Description: The position involves handling cases in interventional radiology. Candidates must scrub for interventional, vascular, and pain management procedures. Proficiency in operating the required imaging equipment is necessary. Procedural types include tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, and catheter placements. Pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations are also part of the role. Vascular procedures are done, including angiograms, thrombectomies, and IVC filter placements. Candidates should be able to maintain a sterile field and accurately monitor patients. This role requires extensive knowledge in advanced imaging techniques and procedures. Candidates should have experience with various imaging modalities and interventional procedures.
