Quality InspectorThis role focuses on performing precise quality inspection of medical device machined components in a high-quality manufacturing environment. You will conduct first article and final inspections, both visual and dimensional, and accurately record and analyze inspection data.ResponsibilitiesInspect medical machined part components in both low- and high-volume production environments.Perform first article and final inspections of medical device components using visual and dimensional methods.Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM), including but not limited to Mitutoyo CMM systems.Support in-process inspections on the shop floor as needed to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.Accurately document all work performed on inspection reports, travelers, and other required quality records.Recognize quality issues, both visual and dimensional, and communicate findings promptly to management and relevant teams.Verify the completeness and accuracy of device history records to ensure good documentation practices are consistently followed.Contribute to statistical process control, sampling plans, data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives as needed.Essential Skills5 or more years of quality inspection experience in the medical device machined components industry.Hands-on experience operating CMM equipment, with the ability to work with various CMM brands.Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Proven ability to recognize and identify quality issues both visually and dimensionally.Experience inspecting machined parts, including first article and final inspections.Additional Skills & QualificationsShop math skills to support measurement, tolerance analysis, and inspection activities.Experience with machined components in a regulated manufacturing environment.Print-to-part experience, including verifying that manufactured parts meet engineering print requirements.Familiarity with ISO quality systems and compliance expectations.Why Work Here?Competitive wages and an extensive benefit packageQuarterly production bonusHealth insurance, Life Insurance, Short Term DisabilityMedical, Vision, Dental, Accident and Critical CareWe also offer PTO, paid holidaysLots of growth opportunities and the ability to advance your careerSend them and pay for new trainingsWork EnvironmentYou will work in a very clean and organized medical manufacturing facility equipped with a wide range of new and modern machinery.
