Accounting Specialist Join the Nisbet Brower Team! Nisbet Brower is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. This position plays an important role in supporting our financial operations by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely processing of transactions, and reliable financial information to support business decisions.The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating with others. If you are organized, analytical, and take pride in accuracy and accountability, we would like to hear from you.What You’ll Do:Process invoices accurately and efficientlyManage accounts receivable activities, including payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliationSupport accounts payable processing, including vendor invoice verification and paymentsPerform bank, credit card, and transaction reconciliationsAssist with monthly financial reporting, statements, and financial analysisMaintain accurate financial records and documentationPartner with internal teams to resolve billing and accounting questionsSupport budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other financial review activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencyOther duties as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:2+ years of accounting, billing, or financial operations experience preferredExperience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, or billing processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and solve problemsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systemsExperience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferredExperience with Epicor and/or Great Plains is a plusAbility to work independently while contributing as part of a teamWhy Join Nisbet Brower?
