Then consider joining our amazing team!Job Overview:The Senior Account Manager M&A Insurance & Risk Advisory is responsible for managing complex commercial insurance programs while supporting merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions through insurance due diligence, structuring, and post-close implementation. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, producers, and transaction teams by providing strategic guidance on risk, coverage, and insurance program alignment across both ongoing operations and transactional events.Location: Duluth, Georgia, hybrid, 3 days a week in the officeWhat You'll Do:A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):Client Management & AdvisoryServe as primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert guidance on risk management, coverage structure, and compliance requirementsBuild and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication and strategic advisoryAnalyze client exposures and identify coverage gaps; recommend tailored insurance solutionsManage complex service issues, including claims advocacy and coverage disputesProvide ongoing updates on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risksM&A Insurance Due DiligenceLead insurance diligence for M&A transactions by collecting and reviewing policies, loss runs, and exposure dataAnalyze insurance programs to identify risks, gaps, and transaction-related liabilitiesPrepare summaries and recommendations for internal stakeholders and deal teamsAlign insurance findings with transaction structures and legal considerationsTransaction Execution & IntegrationCoordinate insurance workstreams during buy-side and sell-side transactionsSupport placement, restructuring, or endorsement of insurance programs post-closeImplement policy changes, including:Adding/removing entitiesAdjusting limits, exposures, and locationsCoordinating tail or run-off coverageRenewals, Marketing & PlacementLead renewal strategy through exposure analysis, claims review, and market comparisonNegotiate with carriers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and coveragePrepare renewal submissions and presentations to carriers and clientsSupport new business efforts through proposals and participation in sales presentationsEnsure continuity of coverage across pre- and post-acquisition entitiesCollaboration & Stakeholder ManagementAct as liaison between clients, producers, underwriters, legal counsel, and transaction advisorsPartner with internal teams (claims, placement, analytics) to deliver integrated solutionsDevelop strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and external partnersOperational & Process ManagementMaintain organized documentation for client accounts and M&A transactionsTrack deliverables and ensure alignment with renewal cycles and deal timelinesDocument all activity in agency management systemsContribute to process improvement, including development of diligence frameworks and best practicesCompensation:The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.What You'll Bring:Team oriented self-starter, with ability to organize, prioritize, monitor and control workflow deadlines and be flexible Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands Adaptability and resilience in managing shifting priorities A collaborative mindset to work with teams across EPIC Insurance technical skills; ability to apply knowledge of coverage forms in analysis, identification of coverage gaps and ongoing coverage consultation Receptive to feedback; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; high adaptability Ability to work well under pressure with attention to details Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5+ years of client service or High School degree with a minimum of 7 years of client service Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical abilities Property and Casualty Insurance License Insurance Designation(s) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with an agency management systems such as Sagitta, ImageRight, etc.Why EPIC:EPIC has over 60 offices and 3,000 employees nationwide and we're growing!
