Regulatory Specialist - LOCAL ONLY
Chemical manufacturer in the greater Cleveland area is seeking a regulatory specialist to join their team and work on compliance for REACH and SDS development. If you have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years in chemical manufacturing regulatory experience, this could be a great role for you!The individual is responsible for managing product regulatory compliance throughout the product life cycle. This includes SDS compliance, shipping marking and naming for DOT, product labeling compliance, monitoring on-going regulatory changes, and working cross-functionally to maintain compliance with domestic and international regulations.Follow all Quality Policy / ObjectivesCreate, review, and maintain SDS, California ingredient disclosure documents and product labelsReview TDS in conjunction with Marketing for regulatory complianceDOT - Manage product hazards associated with transportation and classificationsManage product compliance with domestic and international lawsEnsure product labeling, packaging, and marketing materials meet legal requirementsMonitor changes in regulations and communicate the impacts to internal teamsMaintain regulatory files and documentation for audits and inspectionsSupport new product launchesCollaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and TransportationRespond to regulatory inquiriesParticipate in the internal audit programAssist in other Quality activities as needed including Quality Initiative Teams (QIT)Other duties as assignedSalary$55,000 - $75,000BenefitsM/D/VTechnical Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related science discipline4 or more years of related experience, preferably in manufacturingExperience with REACH, DOT, EPA, and consumer label complianceExperience with 3E Generate software preferredKnowledge of applicable regulationsFamiliarity with global requirementsExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferredExperience with Microsoft Office applicationsIf you’d like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Alicia Mytnik at amytnik@cps4jobs.com.JO: 4.10.26AM
