General Ledger Accountant

We may have just the job for you.Social Vocational Services is looking to hire a General Ledger Accountant who is responsible for the preparation, entry and posting of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and preparation, distribution and maintenance of various financial and month-end reports. This position performs month-end closes and provides assistance with year-end closes, including the preparation of closing journal entries and year-end entries and schedules related to fiscal year audits. If you’re the right person for this opportunity, you will have five years of accounting experience in a busy work environment, are able to handle multiple priorities and have the ability to problem solve. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field is preferred.This full-time, M-F position is based in our Torrance corporate office. Salary is $70,000/year.
