This position offers a consistent four-day schedule and is ideal for an experienced security professional who is reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working both day and swing shifts. *Pay: $20.75 per hour* *Location: Santa Barbara, CA* *Position: Part-Time, Unarmed* Required Schedule Candidates *must be available to work the following schedule:* * *Saturday:* 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM * *Sunday:* 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM * *Monday:* 3:45 PM – 11:45 PM * *Tuesday:* 3:45 PM – 11:45 PM *Please apply only if you are able to consistently work all four scheduled days/shifts.* Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have: * *Active California Guard Card* * *Valid California Driver's License* * *Reliable vehicle* * *Completed High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent* * Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings * Strong communication and customer service skills * Dependable attendance and a professional work ethic *1–2 years of security experience is preferred.* What You'll Do As an Unarmed Security Officer, you'll help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment by: * Maintain a visible and professional security presence * Patrol assigned areas and monitor for suspicious or unauthorized activity * Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas * Assist with access control for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors * Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance * Observe and report safety or security concerns * Monitor life-safety and security equipment as assigned * Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation * Follow established security procedures and post orders * Provide professional customer service while maintaining site security * Communicate security concerns to appropriate personnel Physical Requirements This position may require: * Standing and walking for extended periods * Conducting routine patrols * Climbing stairs * Working indoors and outdoors * Responding promptly during emergencies * Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds when required Why Join Inter-Con?
