Electrical Engineer

Job Summary Vidtek Associates, Inc. is looking for a talented and experienced hardware engineer to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for implementing a complete design cycle including CAD schematics design, firmware development, generating BOM and technical document and procedures. Requirements BS/MS in EE or similar degree program with 5+ years of work experience Knowledge of electronic design principles Experience with OrCAD schematic capture and Cadence Allegro PCB layout Writing product and system technical documentation Experienced in developing firmware for microcontroller-based embedded devices Ability to execute a root cause analysis and debug electrical designs and firmware codes Proficient in C/C++ Experience with Linux shell scripting and Python coding Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Responsibilities Architect, design, and oversee development of products concepts Firmware development for microcontroller-based embedded devices Design verification, failure analysis and debugging firmware Generate products BOM and build prototype units Writing technical datasheets, analysis reports and procedures Mass production and manufacturing planning by requesting quote form local and overseas CMs Working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products and target users Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance (after 60 days of employment) PTO 9 paid Holidays 401k eligibility after 1 year of employment Employment type: Full-time
