Social Studies HS - World History/Geography

OverviewSocial Studies HS – World History/Geography – Las Vegas, NV. Position includes a 10-month schedule. Start date: 8/1/2025.ResponsibilitiesTeach and monitor students Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Provide instruction in both online and face-to-face settings.Teach from the academy or a designated remote location minimum three days per week.Integrate STEM content and writing performance tasks in all subject areas.Collect, review, and provide feedback on student work samples.Prepare students for state standardized tests.Required travel to proctor site-based testing throughout Nevada.Participate in professional development opportunities. Remain current with educational trends and effectively implement new strategies.Conduct regular conferences with parents/Learning Coaches and students to assess each student's progress. Document conference details in a database.Analyze data to identify student academic strengths and weaknesses.
