The role involves managing and coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipments. Responsibilities include tracking fleet movement, communicating with drivers and customers, resolving logistical issues, and maintaining records for shipping and receiving. The Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator also works closely with the operations and sales teams to optimize transportation routes and ensure efficient use of resources.QualificationsOrganizational and logistics management skills, including scheduling, planning, and route optimizationStrong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teamsProblem-solving and critical-thinking abilities for resolving logistical challenges and ensuring timely deliveriesProficiency in using logistics and dispatch software, as well as Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with transportation regulations and safety requirements2-5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related field is requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics or transportation is a plus
