The Customer Experience Center supports all of Allina Health and works directly with patients and family members to help them navigate care.1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period)8-hour day/evening shiftsWeekends may be a part of scheduleCurrent shift start times are from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AMShift end times are 3:30 PM to 8:00 PMOnboarding: First 8 weeks 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM Mon-Fri. This includes instructor led classes, colleague shadowing and taking calls.Customer Experience Center is open 24/7/365Shift/schedule will be assigned after 8 weeks of trainingCandidates must be flexible to meet business needsPublic transportation options are available for both locationsAn ideal candidate would possess:Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, demanding environment with high call volume.Detail oriented individual with strong relationship building skills, excellent verbal communication, good listening, and strong telephone etiquetteAbility to effectively incorporate use of technologyProblem solving skills as related to appointment schedulingAbility to maintain confidentiality of patient and practice informationConsistent attendance and punctualityJob Description:Performs coordinated complex scheduling support with an emphasis on customer service to enhance the customer experience. Assists patients and clinical professionals by providing resources to complex orders based advanced scheduling, registration and prior authorization.Principle Responsibilities:Provides scheduling support for procedural and orders-based services.Ensures data collection entries are accurate and complete.Utilizes various computer systems to perform scheduling and registration process including an electronic medical record.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description2+ years of customer service experiencePreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAssociate's or Vocational degreeExperience in health care settingExperience with scheduling in EpicPhysical Demands:Sedentary:Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequentlyPay Range: $23.22 to $31.83 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
