Datacenter Electrical Technician

Position Title: Datacenter Electrical Technician - Level 1 Location: Miami, FL (On-site)Contract Duration: 3 MonthsLanguages: English & Spanish required Job Summary We are seeking an entry-level Electrician Technician to support day-to-day operations of a data center facility. This role assists with maintaining electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. Ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on experience looking to grow in a critical facilities environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systemsSupport critical power systems including generators, switchgear, UPS, and PDUsPerform basic troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipmentRespond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations as neededFollow safety procedures and assist with compliance related to NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standardsWork with vendors and contractors under supervisionComplete maintenance logs, reports, and documentationParticipate in training and ongoing learning related to data center operationsQualifications 1+ year of experience in electrical, facilities, or critical infrastructure environmentsBasic understanding of electrical distribution systems and mechanical equipmentAbility to use hand tools and basic diagnostic toolsAble to read basic schematics or drawingsStrong attention to safety and willingness to follow proceduresGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentCAREERXCHANGE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
