Maintenance Technician (Night)

Job Summary A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations in compliance with Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) regulations and company food safety standards. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to equipment issues, and supports continuous facility operation.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and routine maintenance on equipment and facility systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problemsRepair or replace defective components and partsInspect equipment to identify potential problems or safety hazardsMaintain maintenance logs and repair recordsRespond to maintenance requests and emergency repairsEnsure compliance with safety standards and company proceduresAssist with installation of new equipment or machineryMaintain tools and maintenance supplies in good working orderWork with production or operations teams to minimize downtime QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
