CNC Machinist/ ProgrammerPost Falls - IdahoPosition Overview:MetalQuest is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery, in a supportive and family-oriented environment, where flexibility is valued.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality component parts according to specifications.Create programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precise machining operations.Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.Collaborate with team members and engineering staff to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, including knowledge of various machining techniques and tooling.Strong programming skills with the ability to write and edit G-code programs.Experience interpreting and manually editing G-Code.Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit) preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Willingness to provide leadership and work in a team-oriented environment.Train operators and help troubleshoot.Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Why MetalQuest?Build a Career, Not Just a JobAt MetalQuest, we combine cutting-edge equipment with a supportive, family-oriented culture.
