Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yrWe are seeking an experiencedCloud Architectto design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure for a top client of ours. This role blends hands‑on infrastructure engineering with architectural leadership, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and modern container‑based platforms in AWS.You will work closely with engineering, security, and platform teams to define cloud standards, enable developer productivity, and ensure our cloud environments are reliable, cost‑effective, and secure.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement cloud‑native architectures on AWSLead infrastructure engineering efforts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principlesBuild and maintain reusable Terraform modules and cloud blueprintsDevelop automation and tooling using PythonArchitect and support container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)Establish best practices for security, scalability, availability, and cost optimizationPartner with application teams to enable CI/CD and cloud adoptionReview designs, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadershipTroubleshoot complex cloud and infrastructure issuesRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineeringStrong expertise with AWS services and architecture patternsDeep hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeProficiency in Python for automation and toolingExperience with container platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker)Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity in cloud environmentsExperience designing highly available and scalable systemsNice to HaveAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar)Experience with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)Experience supporting multi‑account or multi‑region AWS environmentsRemote This role is direct hire and fully remote, candidates will be expected to work EST hours.
