Electrical Engineer

Albin Engineering Services, Inc. ( www.aesi.com ) is looking for an Electrical Engineer for new satellite power management design for one of our premier clients in the aerospace and defense industry. This is a long-term contract, with strong possibility of converting to a direct hire. You will be working onsite in the Denver, CO area. As our employee, you qualify for our full benefit package.Job Responsibilities:Design, troubleshoot and test for new satellites for their power usage and management, including solar panels and battery utilizationPrepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reportsCoordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization.Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields7+ years of relevant work experienceExperience in the DOD and/or Aerospace domain or commercial satellite industryActive or prior DOD security clearance preferred, but candidates must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance in the futureTechnically manage projects or processesWork effectively individually and as part of a team with little oversightCoach, review and delegate work to other professionalsDue to the nature of the work, candidates must be U.S. citizens.
