Kitchen Help Beach Happy Cafe in Watercolor is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Help team member to support daily kitchen operations and ensure a clean, organized, and efficient back-of-house environment. This position is essential in assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen workstations, storage areas, coolers, and equipment. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly. Restock food, supplies, and kitchen inventory as needed throughout shifts. Remove trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Help receive and organize deliveries, ensuring products are properly stored and labeled. Support opening and closing kitchen duties. Assist with other kitchen and prep tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
