Role SummaryWe are hiring a hands-on Director of Advisory to lead, develop, and elevate our advisory team. This leader will drive production, enforce disciplined activity standards, and build repeatable advisor development programs that translate directly into measurable revenue growth and outstanding client outcomes. This role may also oversee financial planning quality, standardization, and delivery. The ideal candidate is both a coach and a business builder—an experienced advisory leader who thrives on accountability, data-driven decision-making, and developing high-performing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvisor Leadership & PerformanceOwn advisor performance management, including activity expectations, structured one-on-one coaching, and individualized development plans.Establish and enforce clear activity standards (client meetings, prospecting, referrals, and new business) using dashboards and scorecards.Design, deliver, and continuously improve a comprehensive development curriculum covering sales craft, client conversations, and business development.Recruit, onboard, mentor, manage, and retain Private Wealth Advisors.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.Ensure consistent and accurate CRM usage, including activity tracking and reporting.Revenue & Business GrowthOwn advisor production and growth targets, including AUM growth, new client acquisition, and revenue per advisor.Drive sustained increases in overall team production through disciplined development and coaching.Implement and manage advisor scorecards to monitor progress and diagnose performance gaps.Analyze CRM and Granum data to run targeted interventions for underperforming advisors.Partner with firm leadership to align advisor development with long-term strategic growth goals.Financial Planning & Operations (Optional Scope)Oversee financial planning quality, standardization, and delivery across the advisory team.Ensure consistent planning processes and high client experience standards.QualificationsRequired Experience10+ years of experience in wealth management, advisory, or a related field.5+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing advisory teams.Core Skills & CapabilitiesProven track record of coaching advisors to materially increase production.Strong knowledge of the advisor role, financial planning process, and investment solutions.Expertise in sales development, activity management, and performance analytics.High proficiency with CRM systems and advisor performance dashboards.Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Leadership AttributesHands-on, accountable leader with a growth mindset.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.Highly adaptable and effective in a fast-growing, performance-driven environment.Collaborative team player who elevates those around themWhat We OfferWe have an exciting and clear vision for growth, driven by strong firm culture and collaboration with other exceptional professionals.We believe in your potential, so we invest in a comprehensive mentorship program to accelerate your professional development.You need to relax, so we offer a generous time off policy and the flexibility to actually use it – with a team to support you so you come back refreshed and not overwhelmed.We support your family planning by offering a comprehensive parental leave policy.Your wellness is important, and we support you with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage in addition to our on-site gym and complimentary yoga instruction.Cheat days happen too, so we have a fully stocked snack station with espresso bar and sparkling water.We are financial planners, and we support your financial plan with a 401(k) and profit-sharing contribution, as well as discounts on investment products.Compensation RangeBase Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.Bonus: $25,000 - $50,000 based on firm and individual performance.Total Cash Compensation Range: $145,000 - $200,000
