This position is for our client - a leading financial and professional services company, with footprint in multiple US cities.Role DescriptionWe’re seeking a true Multi‑Cloud Architect to lead a large‑scale transformation from a predominantly on‑premise environment (90%) into a secure, scalable, multi‑cloud ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of architecture, strategy, and hands‑on technical leadership.You will design end‑to‑end cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP, guide cost‑efficient cloud adoption, and interface directly with senior leadership to drive enterprise‑wide modernization.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & StrategyLead the design of enterprise‑grade architectures spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP.Develop migration strategies for moving complex on‑prem workloads into cloud environments.Perform cost estimation, ROI modeling, and optimization planning across multi‑cloud deployments.Ensure architectures align with business goals, compliance requirements, and operational constraints.Documentation & GovernanceProduce clear, comprehensive architecture documents, diagrams, roadmaps, and decision records.Establish cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.Maintain documentation for FedRAMP‑aligned workloads and sensitive data environments.Security & ComplianceApply security best practices across identity, networking, data, and workload protection.Support FedRAMP‑related requirements for GCP client data environments.Partner with security teams to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation.Cloud Platform ExpertiseGCP: Lead client‑facing work, data architecture, and case‑management workloads in regulated environments.AWS: Architect and support case‑management systems and scalable application workloads.Azure: Integrate with Office 365, Azure AD, and Microsoft Copilot; support enterprise productivity and identity workloads.Leadership & CollaborationServe as the architectural point of contact for executives, engineering teams, and external partners.Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business‑aligned language.Mentor engineering teams and guide implementation through best‑practice patterns.Required Skills & Experience8+ years in cloud architecture, with hands‑on experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP.Proven experience leading on‑prem to cloud migrations at enterprise scale.Strong background in infrastructure, networking, identity, and security.Experience with FedRAMP, regulated data environments, or public‑sector cloud workloads.Ability to produce high‑quality architecture documentation and executive‑level presentations.Deep understanding of cost modeling, cloud economics, and workload optimization.Demonstrated ability to operate as a true architect—not just a cloud engineerPreferred QualificationsCloud certifications (Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).Experience with case‑management platforms or data‑intensive workloads.Familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
