Regulatory Analyst
Position Title: Quality Assurance Lead Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX ONLY Ability to work remote: No. Hybrid: 2-3 days in office, may move to fully in office upon FTE. Acceptable time zone(s): must work EST hours Days of the week: Monday - Friday Working Hours: 8:30 am start. Intended length of Assignment: Through 3/31/2027 Contract to Hire W2Function of the Group: Mitigating risk Industry background: Regulation or Data background Team Dynamic: working within a larger team of data analysts, business analysts, developers, management team. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead quality engineering and testing for data driven regulatory reporting applications. Validate data accuracy and completeness across source to target data flows and reports. Design and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, and data reconciliation testing. Partner with technology and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Oversee test execution, defect analysis, and root cause identification. Own testing documentation including scope, strategy, execution results, and delivery artifacts. Must Have Technical Skills: 5–8 years of experience in data and report testing, preferably within regulatory or risk platforms. Strong expertise in SQL and data validation techniques. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle. Intermediate proficiency in data analysis. Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts. Proven debugging skills to identify and resolve data or system issues. Experience managing and maintaining testing deliverables and documentation. Extensive experience in data centric testing environments. Flex Skills/Nice to Have: Exposure to Axiom reporting tool would be a great plus Experience with Python or R for data profiling, validation, or automation is a strong plus. Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to document test scope, strategies, and results clearly and effectively.
