EB Account Manager for Partner Engagement

Are you an employee benefits account manager looking to make a bigger impact? Do you have detail orientation and the ability to build and grow relationships with clients?The Account Manager for Partner Engagement is the first line of customer service for helping UBA Partner Firms experience and take advantage of all of the programs and value that UBA offers. Working with an internal team and committees from the partnership, this individual will conduct video and in-person training for new Partner Firms, record videos to create a library of support materials, track the engagement of UBA firms in various programs, report on data to Committees and the UBA Board, and conduct regular outreach to firms to ensure they're getting the most value that they can.ResponsibilitiesServe as the UBA corporate team lead in supporting UBA's Partner Engagement Committee, which is comprised of employee benefits advisors from each of UBA's 9 regions.Support the Committee members in creating productive agendas for Regional monthly meetingsIdentify Partner Firms that are less engaged and work with the Committee to support and encourage those firms.Conduct online and in-person onboarding sessions to train all EB employees at a Partner Firm on the UBA programs offered.Track a multi-month onboarding process and ensure a positive and productive experience for all new Partner Firms.Stay abreast of all changes in UBA programs and collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure the onboarding program is fresh and impactful.Develop a training library that can be accessed by Partner Firms as needed.Conduct re-onboarding sessions for Partner Firms that have new employees or need a refresher.Collect, track and report on data on UBA Partner Firms' engagement in various areas of UBA.Manage the Awards program with the Marketing team.Lead a twice annual program for UBA Corporate Team members to conduct outreach to specific Partner Firms to learn their needs and encourage adoption of new or special programs that they may be interested in.Ensure there is follow up for individual Partner Firms that need immediate assistanceCreate a summary of learnings and recommended next steps for action.Gather and share recommendations for education at conferences and training academies, especially when a Partner Firm has a unique story or success that will benefit other UBA Partner Firms.May serve as the UBA corporate team lead in supporting 1-2 Collaboration Groups that meet virtually and in person throughout the year to share strategies, solutions, and challenges in a particular topic area.Learn and become proficient in UBA's benchmarking tool and support team members, Survey Committee members and Partner Firms in getting the most value from benchmarking data.Stay abreast of industry trends and make recommendations to team members and committees potential opportunities or product and solution providers that may benefit UBA Partner Firms and their clients.UBA has a small Corporate Team, and additional duties or projects may be assigned as needed.QualificationsAt least five years' experience in the employee benefits industry - preferably at a brokerage firm or insurance carrier.Active Life and Health license preferred.BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.Outstanding written and oral interpersonal communication skills.Significant attention to detail and time management skillsStrong ability to learn technology/software and advanced proficiency in MS Office 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.Self-motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in duties and responsibilities and a keen sense of prioritization.Demonstrated customer service experience.Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness and ability to travel to conferences 2-3 times per year, which may include evening and weekend work.BenefitsAs the largest community of Independent Employee Benefits Professionals in the country, United Benefit Advisors believes in providing excellent benefits.Remote work privilegesExcellent salary package commensurate with experienceGenerous paid time offHealth, dental, vision, life and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid parental leaveEmployee Assistance & Wellness support programsCommute reimbursement assistance (local candidates only)United Benefit Advisors® (UBA) is the nation's leading independent employee benefits advisory organization with more than 200 offices throughout the United States, and Canada.
