A rapidly growing distribution company is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the finance and accounting function and partner closely with the leadership team as the business continues to scale.This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, providing financial visibility across warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and customer programs. The Controller will play a key role in improving financial processes, strengthening reporting, and driving profitability across the organization.We are looking for a finance leader who can operate at both the strategic and tactical level — someone who understands the business drivers but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves in the numbers.What You’ll OwnLead all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingManage month-end close, financial statements, audits, and internal controlsDevelop financial models and reporting to support pricing, margin analysis, and operational performancePartner closely with operations, fulfillment, and logistics leadership to analyze cost drivers and improve profitabilitySupport RFP pricing, vendor negotiations, and contract profitability analysisManage cash flow, treasury activities, and banking relationshipsHelp implement scalable systems, processes, and reporting infrastructureLead and develop the finance and accounting teamProvide financial insight to leadership to support growth initiatives, facility expansion, and operational investmentsWhat We’re Looking For7–10 years of progressive accounting / finance experienceExperience in logistics, fulfillment, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments strongly preferredStrong experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysisAbility to partner with operations to understand cost structures, labor efficiency, and fulfillment economicsStrong Excel / financial modeling capabilitiesExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsWhy This Role Is CompellingKey leadership role in a growing companyOpportunity to build financial infrastructure and improve reportingHigh visibility with executive leadership and operational teamsAbility to drive profitability, efficiency, and growthCollaborative leadership team and strong company culture
