This position supports strategic marketing and business development efforts across proposal development, digital communications, industry participation, and relationship building.The coordinator helps maintain key partnerships and supports new opportunities by assisting with proposal development and marketing materials. This role also helps organize and facilitate our seller-doer model, enabling team members to build relationships and pursue new business opportunities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssist in developing and maintaining industry-leading proposal and brochure templatesAssist with the development of project specific proposals and qualification packagesMaintain list of completed projects to review for final photographyFacilitate and track market sector business development activitiesSupport our seller-doer model by organizing, facilitating, and coordinating marketing and business development activitiesSupport technical and professional staff in building relationships and pursuing new opportunitiesManage industry events database, coordinate internal participation, and represent the company at industry eventsMaintain and update CRM systemManage 'Chapman Networking Group' including monthly meetings, event coordination and budgetMaintain calendar, develop content, coordinate posts, and track metrics for social media accountsManage content updates to website pagesManage content and distribution of weekly 'Inside Chapman' emailManage the design and production of printed stationery (letterhead, business cards, etc.)Maintain company signage program (jobsite signage, office artwork & signage)Research Chapman promotional materials (wardrobe, giveaways, employee gifts, etc.)Assist with the planning and organization of client and employee events (volunteer opportunities, teambuilding, wellness events, etc.)Assist with the creation and planning of company meeting presentations and eventsPerform other duties as requiredMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES)Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 12 years of AEC industry experience; or 2+ years of AEC industry experience in lieu of a degreePassion for building professional relationships and representing the company at industry networking eventsProficiency with software particularly Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative CloudStrong organizational and project management skillsExceptional attention to detail with an emphasis on qualityExcellent writing, communication and organizational skillsStrong graphic design sense with a high level of creativityAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work collaboratively with different teamsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPositive working attitude and strong work ethicValid driver's license and reliable transportationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience supporting RFQs, RFPs, and proposal developmentUnderstanding of construction project delivery processBasic photography and videography skillsUnderstanding of basic marketing and business development principlesProficiency with WordPress or similar content management systemsWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focusThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateDriving or riding in vehicles for extended periods of time is occasionally requiredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSExpected base annual salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experienceProfit-sharing program100% company-paid health insurance50% company-paid dental insuranceVision insuranceCompany paid short-term and long-term disability insuranceFlexible spending accounts401(k) with company matchStudent loan paydown programEmployee Assistance program529 college savings planIdentity protection planOn-site training and developmentTuition reimbursement for higher education, certifications, and licenses.Paid Time Off and paid holidaysPaid parental leave
