Starting Rate: $18.00 - $24.00 DOE
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team at Ruby
Jewel. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our
warehouse and contribute to the efficient production and distribution of our delicious ice
cream products.
As a full-time employee, this role is eligible for participation in our benefits program

apparel as it requires working in a freezer environment.
Principal Responsibilities:
Transfer inventory between the manufacturing facility and 3rd party storage facilities
Ice cream sandwich processing and manufacturing as needed in support of the
production line
Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload goods, ensuring efficient
and safe handling of ice cream products
Safely transport goods within the warehouse and to and from delivery vehicles,
maintaining the integrity and quality of the products
Adhere to proper handling and storage procedures to prevent damage, spoilage, or
contamination of ice cream products
Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and
efficient stock rotation
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reporting any discrepancies to
supervisors
Perform routine maintenance on electric pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure their
proper functioning
Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards in the warehouse, including sweeping,
mopping, and scrubbing floors
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production schedules,
ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
Assist in loading and unloading trucks, verifying the accuracy of incoming and
outgoing shipments
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to quality
control, safety, and sanitation, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform routine maintenance on electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and company vehicles
to ensure their proper functioning
Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
The position is a production team position within a food manufacturing environment which
may at times require the following:
Ability to come in contact with allergens including but not limited to: nuts, dairy,
gluten, latex
Stand, walk, bend and lift for long periods of time throughout a shift
Communication with all department managers and supervisors, non-direct reports,
occasional visitors, and contracted workers operating within the facility
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a cold environment (-20°F) for extended periods of time
Equipment and Machinery Frequently Used:
Production Equipment: Continuous freezer, depositor, continuous band heat
sealers, walk-in and reach-in freezers, cryogenic tunnel freezer
Sanitation Equipment: Automated commercial dishwasher, brooms, mops,
sanitation chemical applicators, sanitation chemicals
Support Equipment: Glycol chiller, air compressor, etc.
Electric pallet jack and forklift
Workstation computer and printer
Hand cart
Box cutter knife
18’ refrigerated box truck
Other materials designated as necessary for the Ruby Jewel production
Education, Prior Work Experience, Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to obtain and maintain valid Forklift Certification
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Ability to drive 18’ refrigerated box truck
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
At least one year of driving experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
