Utilizing nutrition knowledge to help guide our customers through what nutritional needs and questions they may have. Department maintenance is required but putting our customers first is our expectation and top priority.Job ResponsibilitiesDelivers outstanding customer service.Addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.Answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.Stocking and proper product rotation.Ensures proper department cleanliness, sanitizing and overall conditions of department.May assist in training of new team members, utilizing all learning tools and vendor support.Performs other duties as assigned by store leadershipPerforms inventory management to ensure excellent in-stock position.Learning our POS system.Job SkillsAbility to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.Ability to sell proactively.Strong attention to detail.Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.Ability to follow directionsPassion for natural foods and nutritionStrong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.RequirementsMay have lift up to 50 pounds.You will be required to be standing for a majority of all shifts.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters.May require use of ladders and step stools.Ability to ring a cash register if needed.Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.Exposure to temperatures:Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters and pallet jacks.May require use of ladders.
