Army Navy Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Intern to join our Fairfax facility. This is a Seasonal, immersive internship opportunity that offers hands-on experience in the dynamic world of food and beverage operations.Primary Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Team to ensure the delivery of 5-Star service to our esteemed members and their guests.- Coordinate with Food and Beverage Team, assisting in maintaining a high standard of service quality.- Engage in front-of-house (FOH) food and beverage operations, taking an active role in daily activities such as serving tables, hosting, food-running and other line-level positions.- Engage in banquet operations and vendor relations. This includes scheduling, purchasing and inventory.- Assist with menu planning & development- Learn and practice the hiring processQualifications and Standards- Enrollment in a hospitality or culinary program is preferred.- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.- Excellent organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.- Willingness to be hands-on and learn various aspects of food and beverage operations.- Availability to work at Fairfax, Virginia location- Ability to work during varied hours of the day as well as weekends and holidays- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions- Ability to push, pull and lift 40 lbs.Suggested:- Required by a program to complete an internship.
