Director of Music

Our welcoming congregation is seeking a skilled and passionate Director of Music to lead and grow our music ministry.Key Responsibilities:Plan and lead music for weekly services and special events.Weekly service includes contemporary worship and choir anthem.Direct choir and praise band rehearsals and performances.Collaborate with the Pastor and staff when selecting music.Select music that reflects the spirit of our congregation.Recruit and mentor singers and musiciansPlan and direct Christmas and Easter concerts with the choir and additional instrumentalists.Qualifications:Strong musical background.Experience directing choirs and praise groups.Knows and uses a variety of sacred music styles.Leadership and communication skills.We Offer:Supportive and inclusive community.A part-time position with flexible scheduling.If you feel called to use your musical gifts to enrich worship and special services, we would love to hear from you.J-18808-Ljbffr
