The role involves managing containerized applications, implementing automation and monitoring solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and compliant production systems.Duties and Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated and reliable software delivery across environmentsImplement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift (OCP)Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Shell, or PowerShell to reduce manual effort and improve efficiencyManage environment promotion and release processes across Dev, QA, UAT, and ProductionImplement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system health and performanceSupport incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production systemsEnsure security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices are embedded in CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with development, QA, SRE, and security teams to improve delivery and operational stabilityParticipate in on-call rotations and support production reliabilityDrive continuous improvement in automation, scalability, and system resilienceSkills:Cloud ComputingLinuxPythonShell ScriptRequirements:10 plus years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)Strong experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOpsHands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift (OCP)Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, or PowerShellExperience managing application deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environmentsGood understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and system administrationExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., ELK, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana)Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and security integration in CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with ITIL-based change, incident, and release management processesStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsGood communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teamsAgile/Safe methodologiesMindset (Automation; Security; Strong DevOps/SRE principles)Employment Practices:EEO, ADA, FMLA Compliant:VLink is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.
