This role involves maintaining a visible, professional presence; responding to incidents; and ensuring the safety of clients, staff, and the public during your assigned shift.If you thrive working independently or in a team, remain calm under pressure, and take pride in contributing to community safety, this is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-driven environment.Core ResponsibilitiesMonitor property activity, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents as requiredMaintain firearms proficiency and follow all safety/legal standardsApply de-escalation techniques and sound judgement in challenging situationsWrite clear, accurate incident and activity reportsCommunicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisorsUse technology efficiently (smartphones, reporting tools, scheduling software)Represents PST with professionalism, integrity, and accountabilityWho You AreCommitted to community safety and respectful servicesCalm, confident, and professional under pressureComfortable working independently or in a team in dynamic environmentsMaintains a clean, professional appearance in accordance with company and client standardsUnderstands that visible tattoos, facial piercings, or non-traditional grooming may limit eligibility for certain client assignmentsTech-savvy and dependableNote: We provide security coverage around the clock, every day of the year. Team flexibility is key, and consistent, dependable attendance is required under our zero-tolerance attendance policy.Minimum Requirements21 years of age or olderPrevious armed security experience preferredMilitary or law enforcement background strongly encouragedHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screeningCPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)Reliable personal transportation (public transit/rideshare not permitted for firearm transport)Able to safely use, maintain, operate, and manipulate a firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gearAble to wear a duty belt and exterior tactical vest (position-specific) for the duration of assigned shiftsAble to stand or walk for up to 8-12 hours at a timeAble to get in and out of a vehicle frequently throughout the shift (position-specific)Able to pass the company's basic hand-to-hand defensive skills courseStrong communication and situational awarenessAbout Precision Security TeamFounded in 2018, Precision Security Team (PST) is a veteran-owned and operated contract security provider serving Northern Colorado and surrounding regions.
