Accounting Consultant

We’re seeking experienced Accounting Consultants to join our client teams onsite in Charlotte, NC. These roles are ideal for professionals ranging from Senior Accountant to Controller level, supporting a variety of accounting functions including financial reporting, close processes, and operational improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance.Key Responsibilities:Perform general ledger reconciliations and support financial reportingAssist with month-end and year-end close processesSupport audits and prepare required documentationIdentify and implement process improvements across accounting functionsContribute across areas such as AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and more, depending on engagement needsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)3+ years of accounting experience (Senior Accountants) up to 10+ years (Controller-level candidates)Experience in public accounting, consulting, or industry environments preferredProficiency in ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platformsStrong attention to detail and ability to work onsite in the Charlotte metro areaEngagement Details: Contract opportunities typically range from 3–6 months (with potential extension) and offer competitive hourly or consulting rates, commensurate with experience.
