Orthopedic Polisher

Adecco is currently hiring Orthopedic Polishers in Warsaw, IN. These positions have the opportunity to be temp-to-hire.Job Summary Perform hand polishing and buffing operations on orthopedic products using abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to meet cosmetic and blueprint specifications.Key Responsibilities- Perform hand polishing and final buffing to achieve required finishes.- Change belts, wheels, and consumables as needed to maintain proper finish.- Maintain department equipment and report issues promptly.- Complete final buffing on parts that require additional work after robotic processing.- Complete penetrant inspection certification and perform inspections as required.Required Skills & Competencies- Proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints.- Skilled in product inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.- Comfortable working in a team/cellular manufacturing environment.Education & Experience- High school diploma or GED plus at least 1 year of polishing/buffing experience on a variety of metals.Certifications- Must obtain certified inspection techniques within 30 days of hire.Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
