Most estimators can put a number together. The good ones know whether that number will actually hold up once the job hits the field.That’s who we’re looking for.We’re a well-established San Diego builder with a strong pipeline across commercial, federal, and multifamily work. This role sits within a leadership team that values people who think beyond bid day and take ownership of outcomes. You’ll be trusted to put together numbers that people rely on once the job is live. We’ve built a stable, long-tenured team and a collaborative, no-ego culture where estimating works closely with both field and project teams. You’ll have visibility, input, and direct impact on how projects are approached and you’ll be working with people who care about doing things the right way.Responsibilities:Build accurate, real-world budgets grounded in constructabilityReview plans/specs and identify scope gaps and risk earlyWork directly with PMs and Superintendents during preconstructionSolicit/level subcontractors and support bid strategyQualifications:5+ years of experience with a reputable GC or structured builderStrong understanding of how projects are actually builtStable career progression (not frequent moves)Bachelor's DegreeYour work is respected by both leadership and the field, and where you’re part of a team that values consistency, accountability, and long-term contribution.$150K-$180K base + bonus, full benefits, and truck allowance.
