We continue to grow and expand our operations and are seeking proven performers who are passionate about Microsoft enterprise technologies and client success.Position SummaryKeller Schroeder is seeking a Microsoft Systems Engineer to join our in‑house Data Center Solutions Group in the Evansville, IN or Nashville, TN metro areas. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft hybrid infrastructures, spanning on‑premises Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace solutions, and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.The Microsoft Systems Engineer works directly with clients to modernize infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and support secure, scalable hybrid environments. This position combines hands‑on engineering with client‑facing communication, solution design, and pre‑sales collaboration. Keller Schroeder is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support Microsoft Hybrid Server environments, including on‑prem and Azure‑integrated solutionsDeliver and support Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace services such as: Exchange Online; Microsoft Teams; Microsoft Intune / endpoint managementDesign and support Azure cloud‑native and hybrid infrastructure, including migrations and day‑to‑day operationsAssess existing client environments and recommend architectural improvementsIdentify opportunities where Microsoft technologies can improve business efficiency and resiliencyProvide technical support for clients’ existing on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid systemsCollaborate with senior engineers on solution architecture and implementationAssist Account Managers in pre‑sales activities, helping clients understand the value of modernization initiativesDevelop and maintain clear, accurate technical documentationRequired Experience & Qualifications5+ years total experience across: Microsoft Hybrid Server infrastructure (Windows Server, on‑prem + cloud integration); Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace; Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure5+ years designing and supporting Windows‑based server environmentsExperience with cloud and hybrid platforms, including Azure and Microsoft 365Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and priorities simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a technical teamWillingness to relocate to Evansville, IN or Nashville, TN metro areasPreferred Experience & SkillsMicrosoft certifications are preferred, including one or more of the following: Microsoft 365 (MS‑100 / MS‑101 / MS‑102, MS‑203, MS‑500, MS‑700); Azure Administrator Associate; Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Windows Server Hybrid Administrator AssociateStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in multi‑platform environmentsExperience with VMware and/or Hyper‑V (plus)Familiarity with enterprise storage technologies (plus)Strong technical writing and presentation skillsPersonal & Professional AttributesClient‑Facing: Confidently explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiencesPre‑Sales Mindset: Help clients identify technology solutions that improve business outcomesDesign & Implementation Focused: Comfortable owning solutions from concept through deliveryOrganized: Maintains clear, accurate, and usable documentationContinuous Learner: Demonstrated ability to stay current with evolving Microsoft technologiesTravel: Minimal travel required; reliable transportation necessaryCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus profitability bonusMedical, dental, life, and vision insuranceMatching 401(k)Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Flexible spending accountPaid vacation and holidaysTuition reimbursementDirect deposit
