The company, formed in 2020 through the combination of Raytheon Company and the United Technologies Corporation aerospace businesses, is headquartered in Arlington, VA.The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services Team:In this role you will be responsible for partnering with the digital infrastructure service owners to drive infrastructure solutions. A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of infrastructure hardware, software and services for Cloud and on prem Data Centers. Understanding of a multitude of network solutions for voice, data, conferencing and mobility services as well as knowledge of capabilities from cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and Oracle is essential part of this role.To be successful in this role you will draw from past experience in contract negotiations and consulting skills to lead the coordination, communication and integration of suppliers to support the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives. You should understand all the products and develop various strategies to drive year-over-year cost savings.An understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to contract negotiations to requisition, PO placement and execution, is required for this role. You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop effective presentations and present to leadership and peers.What You Will Do:Identify opportunities and support optimization effortsBuild a supplier strategy, lead and manage negotiations for all contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions to achieve technical, financial and performance objectives for RTXLicense Types: Experience with various forms of software licensing, whether it is subscriptions, perpetual, re-mix practices to achieve best-in-class pricing methodologiesSupplier Examples: AT&T, Azure, AWS, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Oracle, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Verizon, etc.Scope: Server, Storage, Cloud, Telecommunications, Network Services, and Security ServicesBusiness case analysis: Review and incorporate supplier landscape alternatives.
