Mammography Tech

Salary: $2,235.08 - $2,435.08 /wk Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Liberal, KS. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease for a hospital setting. Minimum Requirements: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography (M), or ARRT registry eligible with documentation of eligibility. Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist (LRT) license or ability to obtain an active KS license prior to start. Minimum 2 years of mammography experience in a clinical setting. BLS certification required. Experience using Meditech electronic medical record preferred. Willingness to discuss weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities during interview; weekend/on-call may be required. Must be located more than 45 miles from the facility at time of assignment start. Must comply with onsite drug screening and other pre-employment compliance requirements. Preferred: prior hospital-based mammography experience and familiarity with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift type: 8-hour day shift. Typical shift pattern: Monday through Friday, first shift (8:00-16:30) as discussed in order notes. EMR: Meditech. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed. Overtime policy: OT begins after hour 49.
