Through trauma-informedadvocacy and supportive case management, this role helps bring visibility to whathas too often gone unseen, ensuring survivors are heard, supported, and neveroverlooked.Advocates walk alongside survivors as they navigate complex systems, accesscritical resources, and move toward safety and stability—offering consistency,compassion, and belief in their strength every step of the way. This work is aboutshining a light, magnifying resilience, and helping create the conditions wheresurvivors can move forward on their own terms.Duties Provide trauma-informed advocacy and supportive case management tosurvivors of sex and labor trafficking. Conduct intake, trafficking screening, and needs assessments to determineappropriate services. Maintain caseload of survivors, providing ongoing support, follow-up, andservice coordination. Develop individualized service plans and safety plans in collaboration withsurvivors. Assist survivors in accessing services including housing, healthcare, legalassistance, counseling, education, and employment resources. Provide crisis intervention and emotional support as needed. Provide advocacy during appointments, court hearings, and other systeminteractions when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services in accordancewith agency policies and Oklahoma Office of the Attorney Generalcertification standards. Provide overnight shift coverage on a waiting to be engaged basis asscheduled and be prepared to respond to field response requests to providein-person advocacy and support to survivors when needed. This includesrequired documentation of services including mandatory end of shiftreports. Participate in a rotating schedule for evening ride-alongs with lawenforcement providing on-site field advocacy and crisis response as needed. Attend staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings. Complete other duties as assigned.Skills Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field preferred;Other Experience Considered. Crime Victim Services Degrees Or Classworkpreferred. 1-3 years of experience in human trafficking victim advocacy, casemanagement, crisis response, or related field preferred. Experience working with survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence,Sexual Assault, Or Other Forms Of Exploitation Strongly Preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and survivor-centered advocacy. Demonstrated ability to manage a larger caseload and complex cases. Strong crisis intervention, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.We are hiring for (3) advocate positions. Schedules are as follow: 9am-5:30pm Tuesday-Friday; Mental Health Day (Monday); Remote hotlineshift* (Sunday 9pm-9am) 9am-5:30pm Monday-Wednesday, Friday; Mental Health Day (Thursday);Remote hotline shift* (Wednesday 9pm-9am) 12:30pm-9:00pm Monday-Thursday; Mental Health Day (Friday); Remote hotlineshift* (Saturday 9pm-9am)Shift= waiting to be engaged, $36 stipend per shift, $25 engaged rate.
