Ally Behavior is a full-time, center-based, early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program, serving children with autism ranging from 18 months to 6 years of age. The children we serve are at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about our commitment to having a meaningful impact in the lives of our children and their families.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic interventions and support to clients in speech-related goals. This role is crucial in helping individuals regain independence and enhance their quality of life. The SLPA will be responsible for implementing treatment plans developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist. This includes direct client care, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Our comprehensive onboarding and training approach will support and prepare you to provide the best possible therapy to our clients!Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Assist the SLP in providing skilled speech therapy services to clients in a center-based settingImplement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLPCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals regarding client progress and goalsMonitor client progress, document subjective and objective findings, and report changes in client status to the supervising SLPMaintain accurate and timely client records, including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summariesCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Behavior Technicians, to ensure comprehensive client careParticipate in team meetings, case reviews, and in-service training sessionsAdhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and relevant state licensure boardsMaintain a safe and clean working environmentPerform administrative tasks as needed to support the therapy departmentFill-in for one-to-one ABA Therapy sessions as neededDue to the nature of working with young children, all clinical staff are required to change diapers, assist with toileting, and be able to physically work on the floor with childrenExperiential & Certification Requirements:Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disordersValid SLP-A license or certification in state(s) of hire or eligibility to obtainPrevious experience working with individuals with communication disorders, preferably in a clinical or educational settingStrong understanding of speech and language development and common communication disordersCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationExperience with early intervention and working with children with autismWillingness to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificationStrong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements:Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to reach and hold objectsAbility to lift 30 pounds What You Will Bring:Enthusiasm to make a difference working with young children and their familiesExceptional ability in building trusting relationships and maintaining confidentialityCommitment to learn and pursue professional developmentDemonstration of professionalism and adherence to Ally policyEffective communication skillsMulti-tasking & time managementCreative solutions to problems with the ability to quickly adaptPatience and calm demeanor in stressful situationsStrong performance in team settings & collaboration with others What We Offer When Joining Our Team:Salaried, full-time positionGuaranteed semi-monthly paycheck (24)Company-sponsored DashPass18 days of paid time off9 paid holidays (5 set days + 4 "floating" holidays)Professional development opportunitiesMedical +HSA, Dental, and Vision coverage through CignaUp to $9,000 in post-maternity childcare assistance401(k) plan with company match.Employee Assistance ProgramShort Term Disability, Term-Life/AD&D Insurance, Critical Illness with Cancer Insurance, Accident Insurance, Hospital Confinement Insurance, and Pet InsuranceTuition Assistance eligibility at 6-month benchmarkPay Range$50,000-$60,000 USDNote: This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship.
