What You' ll Do: As an Insurance Sales Representative, you' ll be a key member of the Client Care Team and one of the primary points of contact for customers. You' ll guide clients through coverage options, convert quotes into active policies, and provide ongoing service support— while maintaining compliance with state and federal insurance regulations. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Your Day-to-Day:Conduct customer appointments in-office, by phone, and via video callProspect new clients through outbound calls, texts, emails, and mail campaignsObtain and verify client information to prepare accurate insurance quotesReview underwriting reports to qualify and price policies appropriatelyPresent insurance quotes and explain coverage options clearly and confidentlyFollow up with prospects to convert quotes into new policiesSubmit new policies by verifying information, collecting payments, and following internal SOPsAssist clients with billing issues, policy changes, coverage recommendations, and claims trackingMaintain detailed records of all interactions, quotes, and follow-up activities within a CRM systemParticipate in weekly team meetings and assist with planning team initiativesSupport community marketing events and local outreach effortsRemain compliant with all licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements What We' re Looking For:Strong customer service and relationship-building skillsSales-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed goalsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quicklyComfort working independently with minimal supervisionProficiency with CRM systems and standard office softwareProfessional appearance and adherence to a business casual dress codeReliable attendance and strong organizational skills Licensing & Certifications:Must obtain a South Carolina Resident Insurance Producer License within the first 90 days of employmentRequired lines of authority include:PropertyCasualtyLifeAccident and Health or SicknessCompletion of instructor-led pre-licensing courses is required, including:Series 19-04 (Property & Casualty)Series 19-03 (Life, Accident & Health)Licensing and exam-related upfront costs are covered by the employerEmployment is contingent upon passing all required state exams within the designated timeframe Dress Code & Professional Standards: This role requires adherence to a business casual dress code, designed to maintain a professional yet approachable environment when interacting with clients, partners, and team members.
