This is a full-time hourly position working Monday-Friday, 1st shift hours, with some Saturdays required (depending on business/seasonal needs).Quality Control Specialist major responsibilities include:Obtains samples and perform tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our St. Louis area operations.Prepare reports and maintain accurate records according to established proceduresAssists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precisionObserves all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderlyFill in at the scale house, when neededQuality Control Specialist candidate requirements:Safety-FocusedStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, ability to work independentlyMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsMust have valid Driver's LicenseAbility to lift heavy samples up to 75 poundsWill be required to pass and/or maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for MODOTAt Central Stone, we offer a competitive wage and benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, paid Holidays and Vacation, 401k with Company match, and more!This is a great time to join our team.
