This role oversees the calibration lifecycle, maintains accurate records within internal systems, and supports operational efficiency through effective communication and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory records for calibration-controlled equipment, including conducting routine audits and verifying asset locationsCoordinate the full calibration lifecycle, including identifying equipment due for calibration, initiating service, monitoring status, and returning equipment to operational useEnsure all equipment is properly labeled, documented, and compliant with applicable calibration and certification standardsProcess and maintain calibration-related records and documentation within internal tracking systems to ensure accuracy and traceabilityCoordinate with internal teams and approved external vendors to ensure timely calibration, repair, and replacement of equipmentMonitor open orders, turnaround times, and warranties to ensure equipment availability and minimize operational disruptionPrepare and deliver regular reports on calibration activity, inventory status, and overall performance metricsCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management to support calibration operations and resolve issuesMaintain organization and readiness of calibrated equipment, including proper storage, handling, and asset rotationIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall calibration performanceQualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferredExperience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in calibration coordination, inventory control, manufacturing support, or related environment preferredKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong organizational and inventory management skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsProblem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiencyGeneral understanding of calibration processes, manufacturing environments, or equipment managementProficiency with standard office software and data tracking systemsWork Environment / Physical RequirementsWork is primarily performed in a manufacturing or laboratory environmentMay require handling of equipment, lifting, and movement of calibration itemsInteraction with production, engineering, and external service providersAdditional InformationThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibilitiesResponsibilities may evolve based on operational needs and customer requirementsWhy You’ll Love Working for Us: Industry-competitive salary with bonus opportunities Medical, dental, vision insurance 401K Upward mobility opportunities Training opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
