TIBCO BW / API Integration Developer
We are seeking an experienced TIBCO BW / API Integration Developer with strong expertise in API development, enterprise integration, and the design, implementation, and support of TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and API Management solutions.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW 6/10.x), TIBCO EMS, and API Gateway technologies such as Layer 7 or Apigee. The role involves developing end-to-end integration solutions, preparing technical specifications, analyzing business requirements, troubleshooting production issues, and recommending high-quality solutions for the TIBCO integration platform.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, implement, and support integration services using TIBCO BusinessWorks 6/10.x and TIBCO EMS.Develop and maintain enterprise APIs and integration services using REST/SOAP, XML/XSD, JSON, and JMS/EMS.Design and implement API management solutions using Layer 7, Apigee, or similar API Gateway technologies.Create conceptual end-to-end integration solutions, technical specifications, interface designs, and solution documentation.Analyze new business and technical requirements and perform gap analysis.Document solution options, including change descriptions, impact analysis, dependencies, and effort estimates.Perform functional mapping based on business requirements and technical specifications.Translate source and target schemas into transformation logic aligned with logistics processes and data standards.Investigate and resolve application issues, defects, integration failures, and production incidents.Collaborate with application business analysts, development teams, operations teams, and end users to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.Assist the Operations Team with production escalations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as required.Develop and execute comprehensive system testing plans and validate successful implementation of software changes, patches, and upgrades.Analyze end-user feedback and business requests and implement appropriate system enhancements.Coordinate with interfacing applications and business units to validate requirements and implement application configuration or parameter changes.Support application deployments, environment configuration, packaging, and release activities.Follow established Enterprise SDLC, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation standards.Provide technical guidance to less experienced analysts or developers as required.Participate in special projects and other integration-related initiatives as needed.Required Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks 6/10.x.Strong experience with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS).Experience developing enterprise integration services and APIs.Strong understanding of XML/XSD, JSON, REST, SOAP, and JMS/EMS.Experience with functional mapping, data transformation, and enterprise integration patterns.Hands-on experience with API Gateway technologies such as Layer 7 or Apigee.Experience with API design, deployment, security, and lifecycle management.Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and mTLS security patterns.Experience with Git and source code management.Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.Experience with Artifactory repositories.Experience with environment configuration, packaging, deployment, and release management.Strong troubleshooting skills across development, testing, and production environments.Knowledge of logging and monitoring.Basic knowledge of Splunk.Knowledge of logging and exception-handling tools such as njams is preferred.Required Area of ExperienceTIBCO BusinessWorks 6/10.x.TIBCO EMS.API Gateway technologies such as Layer 7 or Apigee.XML/XSD, JSON, REST/SOAP, and JMS/EMS.Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Artifactory.Environment configuration, packaging, deployment, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Enterprise SDLC and application support.API security patterns including OAuth 2.0 and mTLS.Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
